Is your baseball or softball player looking for an inexpensive and flexible clinic to get them additional swings before, or even during, their season?
The Michigan Sports Academy - Livingston 1-Day Hitting Clinic may be the answer. These clinics will be held periodically throughout the Spring with the idea that some players want a little more than hitting off a machine and want to get some reps with a qualified instructor to offer pointers to help them become a more successful hitter.
Each clinic will be 90-minutes in length and will only cost $20 per registrant. Instructors include Karl Kling, MSA owner; Hanna Brandissi, former collegiate player and home run record holder at Howell High School; Doug Grable, former Fowlerville High School coach and current MSA coach; and Matt Hunt, MSA instructor and former professional and collegiate standout player.

Most Livingston County area students have their Spring Break beginning April 14. However, students from some surrounding districts have their break the week before. Therefore, MSA will be conducting their Spring Clinic during both weeks.
Week 1: Monday, April 7 through Thursday, April 10
Week 2: Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17 (most Livingston County students have their Spring Break during this week)
Each day from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Breakdown of Daily Sessions:
Monday: Hitting - hitters will learn and practice drills that develop good swings and are commonly used at all levels
Tuesday: Fielding and Throwing Basics - Ages 10 & under will build good habits before hard-to-break habits are developed while the 11-14 age group will work on the fundamentals used in backhands, slow rollers, drop steps, trap hops, and much more
Wednesday: Basic Bunting/Base running/Review of Hitting - Ages 10 & under will learn how to bunt properly and safely and learn the basics of base running while also reviewing hitting skills, while the 11-14 age group will learn the techniques for drag, push and sacrifice bunting, leads and base stealing, and reviewing hitting mechanics
Thursday: Pitching - The youngsters will learn basic motion movement drills that can be practiced at home while the older kids will work on mechanics from the windup and stretch and begin fastball movement and more advanced skills
